Karen Kinney, Hospital Manager

Karen fulfilled her life long dream of living in Colorado after moving to Summit County from Oklahoma this spring. In 1990, Karen began working in the veterinary profession as a receptionist. She worked her way up, learning as much as she could about veterinary medicine, and most recently she helped open and was the Hospital Administrator for eight years at a veterinary hospital in the Tulsa, Oklahoma area. She has three grown children, two daughters and a son, who have inherited her love of animals! A self proclaimed “crazy cat lady”, Karen has two cats of her own, as well as a two year old golden retriever mix that loves the local hiking trails. She is very excited to be here in Frisco, and can’t wait for the first snowfall! Some of the goals Karen has are biking around Lake Dillon, learning how to ski, and just enjoying life in Summit County. Karen welcomes your questions and comments at karen.kinney@nvanet.com.
