I’m from tiny town in northeast Ohio where we lived surrounded by enough trees to hide all the creatures I brought home. I went to college outside of Columbus at a (lovely) (tiny) school called Otterbein. I was a zoo & conservation major and spent a few years training service dogs there. I made my first big solo move to Minnesota for vet school. With my hometown in lake Erie's snow belt and Minnesota being.. Minnesota, I’ve decided I’m not afraid of winter, so the mountains of Colorado felt like a perfect fit.

While I was in school I studied small animal medicine, but focused as many electives/externships as I could on exotics. Outside of work I like hobbies, which I’m intentionally going to leave vague. I read, do arts and crafts, sew, all the whatnots. My favorite hobby is finding a hobby, becoming average at it, then finding a new hobby. I think I like being able to do things (so it goes without saying that I am always open to new hobby suggestions.)

I have three cats, a chinchilla, a gecko, and several invincible cichlids. As a new Colorado resident, I’ll be learning to snowboard to blend in with the crowd, but only because I think it looks cooler than skiing.
